Experience MBI
Since 1999, MBI has had experience protecting from many types of threats in many industries. Over the last 10 years, MBI has designed, engineered, manufactured and delivered over 1000 units to protect customers from blast overpressures, ballistics, projectiles, chemical releases, fire, forced entry, noise, hurricanes, tornados, and earthquakes. Having grown operations to nearly 1.6 million sq.ft. of manufacturing capacity spread across 4 different countries, MBI is now able to provide its protective systems at competitive prices and with reliably quicker delivery schedules. These facilities include fabrication bays, outfitting/finishing bays, and paint and blast booths, which give MBI the capabilities to complete every aspect of each project, in-house.
Along with extensive fabrication and machining capabilities, MBI also has in-house engineering and detailed design departments. Engineers and design personnel utilize 'state of the art' tools in the development of designs including ANSYS Finite Element techniques, 3-D parametric design, as well as, 2-D/3-D CAD drafting. Engineering and design capabilities, paired with fabrication and machining capabilities, allow MBI to complete any size job, even ones under the most stringent time constraints.
MBI products range from control rooms and guard buildings, to offshore living quarters and diplomatic residences. With all of our customers safety is of the utmost importance, but time is always a factor. Our modular protective building systems are not only more cost effective than traditional construction, but the manufacturing processes we use allow our protective building systems to be fully manufactured and outfitted offsite in a controlled environment, while on-site work is being completed in preparation for installation. With these two processes occurring simultaneously, the total project completion time is drastically diminished.
Along with our products and capabilities, comes MBI quality and service. We realize that our products in many cases are classified as life saving equipment; this means that quality is vital. It is for that reason, that MBI is an ISO 9001:2000 Registered company. This certification requires that we continuously monitor our performance, as well as, the quality and performance of our suppliers. The certification ensures that a consistent set of operation and quality procedures are adhered to; this includes thorough documentation and inspection of each and every project.
Although the people of MBI are 'key' to a successful project, it is ultimately our customers who determine MBI's success. MBI's efforts continuously trend in the direction of being a global supplier, servicing markets in Australia, Africa, Canada, Europe, Asia, across the Americas, and in every major body of water across the globe. |
